1000 credits is a little too much for me to pay for a pin with a shamrock on it. If they had released some green mickey ears, then we'd be talking.

I'm excited, though I still don't have many credits lol, I have always loved this pin and only had one of them. Now I am able to get a couple more of the one I loved without trading tons for them.

Though I can see the dissapointment in not having something new and different, i'm excited for something I have always liked.

Even though I don't have this pin and am glad to get the chance to buy it, I really think it's disappointing to those who have had this pin in their inventory for a long time. I would have thought they could have come up with a new pin.

Thats exactly how I feel. I'm glad for people who haven't had a chance to be able to get this pin, and even the silly green top hat. I would have liked to have had new Holiday pins this year, too, but kinda didn't expect it after Valentine's day not having one.

Instead of just re-releasing the Mad Hatter Hat, why don't they make a full Leprechaun costume? I would totally wear that! And I agree, 1000 credits for a pin like that is a little expensive. At least there are still double credits for POTC...

i havent given my opinion. Yes, i do like how they released the pin! Im sorry for those who traded for it though. Although my opinion still goes, as, everything should be released I want green bag pants!!

There wasn't a year marked on the pin, so it was ripe for re-release.

Wrong. You are absolutely wrong in your generalization.

I wasn't around when this pin was released in 2006. I have yet to trade for this Holiday Pin that was released in 2006. But I was around last year to get 18 St. Patrick's Day 2007 pins, so as to have a complete "Lucky Pin Lanyard."

So, here's how it goes:

March 17, 2006: Four Leaf Clover Pin released.
March 17, 2007: St. Patrick's Day 2007 Pin released.
March 17, 2008: Four Leaf Clover Pin rereleased.

Notice something wrong there, Jason? It's not that the pin was rereleased, but that there was no NEW PIN RELEASED.

This isn't a new thing that we are angry about, Jason. I don't consider myself to be a veteran of the game, but I want more NEW things released than OLD things rereleased. I just think that not putting in the time to create a 2008 Four Leaf Clover pin just paints VMK as LAZY. Sure, the new Magic they have unveiled in the past was awesome, but they took it out of stores WAY TOO FAST. How can new players POSSIBLY afford all this cool stuff?

Jason, I have not traded for any items within about a year. Yes, I have sold some of my unneeded old stuff in order to get some credits, but that was to buy new stuff that VMK was coming out with. I don't hoard stuff to trade away later: I am a collector, not a trader.

And as far as I see it, bucking the norm with regards to a new Four Leaf Clover released every year is just another nail in the coffin for VMK.

Congratulations, Jason, your post just made me cynical about VMK again.
