Surprise Gift 500 credits

Hi,

VMK is running HORRIBLE! Ink managed to get in and tgere is a new red surprise gift in emporium. It is 500 credits and that is all we know so far. He bought one but his rooms won't load to go try it out.



Ok here is how it is working

You buy gift
you double click and a box comes up giving you a choice of 4 cards. You choose one and put in message
it tells you once you save message it can not be changed
then ink double clicked it and it opened present and mickey came out.
It appears that the gift is the present with mickey.

Ink gave one to bears in her room he set it down. Once you put in someones room it becomes theirs and you can not take it back.

okay, finally got it all to load and am in my room looking at the gift...you click on it and gives you the area to write your greeting and a few options to choose from for the gift card.

Maybe you type in like "Merrychristmas, from (Enter VMK Title Here) then you like trade it to friends??? rofl. I have no idea cause I can't get on VMK right now

More info

The items show up in inventory as individual items. Like a magic does.

If you take one in your inventory and write a message and save you can trade it to a friend. In the trade window there is a button on the side where item description is that says view greeting. This allows you to be sure you are giving the right gift to the right person. Great thinking VMK!

Just wondering bc when I was in the ride a thon, it looked like if there was a hole in the middle when you clicked on the box and I wondered about the fact that we could put a present in it or not.

You just type a message that anybody who clicks on it can see. Once it is done though, you can't change it.

I see some major complaining coming with this item.

1.If you don't write anything on the card it says "gift text" on it forever. What a waste!

2.If you are trading for this item, you cannot see what is on the card or if it has even been used before. The person trading can see it though. This is going to be bigger than trading teleporters only to find out they were not a matched set.

3.If you fill out the card your title will always be attached to it no matter who it is traded to later on.

yes it would have, maybe next year. I am thrilled we can personalize our gifts at least.

Its a great idea, better then the candy cane was last year! The Mickey is cute and its nice to be able to put your own personal message on the gift!

Its a "gift" so maybe its not suitable for trading in a trade, but vmk can't make everyone happy, if people use it as intended as a gift for someone else, then no problem. Also You can just put happy holidays on the gift, and keep it yourself to decorate your own rooms. Now if they would just have for sale a christmas tree to put these great gifts under..........
