New IOA or Universal discount prices AAA

I just got my new AAA magazine today. For all
AAA members there is a good discount at Universal and IOA.
1 day, 1 park $39.95
2 day, 2 park $69.95
Wow, this is a great deal, can't wait to go.
24 days and counting them down.

Do you know if I can purchase tickets at the ticket window at IOA showing my AAA card, or do I have to purchase at a AAA office?

I am almost sure that you will have to buy them
from your AAA office to get the special rate.
You can get a discount at the parks, but it won't be this low. I would call them first to
see if they have the tickets before I made the
drive. I will check it out this afternoon.

You may want to check Universal's website directly before getting these tickets. We were able to get 5 day passes (both parks) for $89 earlier this year. I would strongly suggest one person in your party get an annual pass if you intend on going to Universal multiple days-one of these will save your parking costs ($7.00) a day if I remember correctly. At any rate, shop around before you buy-if you are only going 2 days, AAA may be your best bet.

We would be very interested in this. We are AAA members through my FIL's card. So, we don't receive any magazines. What is the name of the publication? I looked on the aaa.com site and the price unfortunately is much higher. Is there a phone # to call. Any information will greatly appreciated. Thanks for reporting this on the boards.

The magazine is called (Going Places) a AAA
magazine that is sent out 4 times a year.The
add is on page 3. It is called Fall Member
Savings. It looks like we will be in Orlando
the same time you will be there. Sept 21-28
I am ready to go now.

I went to my local AAA office this afternoon to purchase these tickets. This is what they told me:
The special they will be running starts Sept. 3 and it is for the Adult 2 day/ 2 park 3rd day free ticket and will cost the price of a childs ticket. My AAA office told me the price will be $77.50. That is quit a savings. BUT remember it starts SEPT. 3rd.

I just called my AAA here in Albany, ny and all they would say is call me next week. So I guess I will be doing that on Tuesday. thanks for the great special.

I haven't had any luck with anyone at the local AAA or the 800 number knowing about this deal. Maybe because it starts in a few days. Please post when somebody gets more information.
