New info/Pix's on ASMo

Our family will be staying at ASMo for the first time in Sept/Oct. I have searched a lot of old post's and pix's but would like to know if anyone has anything new to report on ALL Star Movies! We are very excited and would love to read some new reviews!! Comparisons to ASSp are welcome as that is where we have stayed before and can relate very well to it. Are food courts similar etc.

Hey Pinkerbell. I dont really have any new reviews. We stayed there last Sept and loved it. So much we are staying again this Sept. Looks like our trips are around the same time.

We stayed there our first trip and loved it. The theming just screams Disney. We lucked out and were in Toy Story before it became preffered. It was just so magical to walk through Andy's door everyday .

And My husband is from CT! If you are flying out of Bradley I hope you got a good Ding fare on southwest.

We stayed there our first trip and loved it. The theming just screams Disney. We lucked out and were in Toy Story before it became preffered. It was just so magical to walk through Andy's door everyday .

We stayed pref last trip. We ended up on the other side from the pool 1st floor. It was perfect. Nice and close but still quite. We opted for pref again this trip. Hopeing we get nice and close and connecting rooms again.

And My husband is from CT! If you are flying out of Bradley I hope you got a good Ding fare on southwest.

Actually we are flying out of Logan in Boston. We looooove Jetblue. We flew out of LGA last trip in NY on jetblue. Loved it just hated flying out of NY. Going to try boston this time. I work part time for Marriott so I got us a nice room discount and just paying for parking about 20 min from airport and they offer shuttles.

Where in western mass are you?

we are in Agawam, yup, less than a mile from six flags, which we also enjoy.
only 12 minutes from BDL, we love that airport and can always find a ride to anf ro since it is so close, even give rides now and then and let people park at our house..
the hubby is from somers, ct
We also have a preferred room and like to be in a location on the oposite side for quiet, but close for a short walk, that is how are rooms were at ASSp.
We also like to be on an upper floor just to cut down on traffic a little when trying to nap the kids..

Wouldnt it be funny if we ended up near each other!!!! I think I am going to try the fax thing to the resort 5 days before. I figure it couldnt hurt.

I am in Meriden currently.

Wish we could fly cheaply out of BDL. It would make it much easier because we could get rides to the airport. Flying out of a farther airport with 3 kids you cant really get a ride hehe. No one really wants to drive 2 hours stuffed in a car with 5 other people. Its ok though I think we got a good deal on the hotel and parking. And we end up spliting it so it works out.

Gosh 53 days left for us.

I'm not sure how far meridan is from BDL, but I got a ding for $69 each way on southwest. I am hoping to lower it to $49 but am totally happy. Have you looked into southwest. A few days ago $69 was the going fare and they have great flight times.. just a thought...

It would be too funny if we saw each other there...Do you put anything in you window like a cling, Lime Greem HD mickey etc. I have read they do this a lot at pop and saw a bit of it a sports but wanted to do something this yr myself...

Also what is the fax 5 days out hing all about?

Well with 3 kids we really like jetblue. We probably could have waited for a ding or sale for southwest out of BDL. But we just love jetblue. They even have dunkin donuts coffee hehehe

Well I heard people say they fax something to the resort directly like 5 days before there trip with requests. Not sure if it works. But it wouldnt hurt. I just want something close.. like fantasia and connecting.. hehe

I had read on another thread to soak the HD Mickeys in water and they come off, sure enough just a few seconds in water allowed me to seperate them... now only if I were crafty enough to know what to do with them...
Jet blue doesn't flly out of BDL so we have never had the oportunity to fly them.. we loved song (through delta) soooo much.. and then poof they were gone again

Really in water? They dont get messed up?

I plan on making countdowns sunday with all my HD mickeys. Need to go get more though. Not enough for 2 count downs.

DH thought I was nuts last trip. He was thrilled when I said lets stop at Home Depot. Than after I took a pass scooping up some I sent him around the corner to grab a stack also . I just cut them out and glued two together so they were green on both sides and punched holes in them. I looped an elastic band through and hung them on the diaper bag and the stroller. We were at Pop and I saw a couple of windows done up with LGMH and other stuff. I didn't bother putting anything in ours since we were in the back facing the lake and on the top floor so it was definaltely not high traffic.
