New idea for pressed penny container

On our last trip we did M&M containers for pressed pennies. I bought red ones and decorated them with scrapbooking materials. They looked really great and Mickeyish but one problem...where to store the pennies once pressed as they won't fit back into the M&M tube. Instead I think next time I'll use the small plastic first aid box you can find at the dollar store. The box is about the size of an Altoid container, but without the annoying sound of coins inside of tin. This way you can store all pressed pennies and coins for pressing. I used one of these boxes for our bandaids and tylenol etc.. on our last trip and also decorated it with Mickey paper, embellishments etc.. Just a thought.

I like to press pennies and quarters too.

I have filled a pressed penny book. The quarter book only has a very few extra special pressed quarters.

I have the mini M&M containers (1.94oz, so they are bigger than the ones at the grocery store, about double the size) and the pressed pennies fit in there.

We got the M&M at a party this past weekend, and since my mind is always on Disney, I thought....hmmm if I decorate these we have a great place to store everyones pressed pennies!!!

I was wondering about labels, but scrapbooking stuff is a good idea!

Silly question, but where do you all find the M&M containers? I have looked and haven't come across any so far. We have a pressed penny book that is full and my one complaint is that the book is starting to fall apart at the seams. I like the idea of the first aid container. I probably have at least one of those around here and now I have a way to reuse it.

M&M makes mini M&M and that is where I got my container. Party City has them, as does most places that sell candy.
