Last year was the first time that I had ever seen the castle lighting ceremony. It has to be my favorite thing of all at Disney. I don't think I have ever seen anything more beautiful than the castle lite up like that.

I even bought 2 pictures of it at the Art of Disney Store in Epcot.
One big one for the family room wall and I have a 4 by 6 one on my desk.

Well fun in a warped kind of way

LOL! Used and tossed aside like yesterday's panties.

I think that's probably more valid that the "pop up" from FoundMyPrince. They probably ran it for a minute or 2, not long enough for anyone to finish watching the videos. I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to do that every day until the promotion is over.

It's been fun hanging with you guys though.

The promotion is over, I'm pretty sure that's confirmed.... but then again who knows

I stayed on last night till wee hours;215-230, I got a video. I went through a few videos, chose resort, added cc info, clock ticking-had over a minute to spare when I hit the end.....thinking I have this pat....then I get a message that its over!
I feel so betrayed-I made it completely through and was scammed. I had Beach Club booked! Hubby even helped-he said I had plenty of time at the end.

bankrupt? lawsuit? what lawsuit? (sorry guys...I usually hate when people do this on a thread. I kept up for 16 hours yesterday before I gave up...and I'm just getting back in now...)

well, jennymomof3 posted this was stated to her by csr from LMT(about going bankrupt after the lawsuit), but hey who has had time to file a lawsuit..we've all been too busy "clicking and refreshing" all night.maybe it was a disgruntled employee that told her that. i would imagine that between all the ticked off people calling LMT/and their probably overworked csr's, that it's hard to say what kind of info. one might be told if they called. wow 16 hours for you, I am sorry that you didn't get a room me either...it's a shame we can't all at least get a giant LMT discount for persistance

I can understand why they had to go that route, the response was too large.

That's what I thought, but they sure could have run it in the early morning (according to any of those so called clues) when there were only 1/4 of the people around

I kind of had that sinking ship feeling after they didn't run it in the afternoon, I wish I would have given up then, but the gambler in me wouldn't let me just one more quarter

Honestly, there were far too many people waiting for them to open it up. As much as I think they needed to follow through in some way, I kind of understand. Not that I want to do business with them anytime soon.

Until they changed their TOS late last night/early this morning it said that there was a limit of 500 hotels to be given away each day. They could have just stuck with that cut off point.

During the morning yesterday they posted that they gave away just under 1,000 rooms total for the 5 days last week. The cut off should have been 2,500 rooms so they were still up 1,500 rooms and that is not counting the 500 rooms for yesterday.

Honestly, I've seen just as busy at other times during the year. We just made sure to get to the parks we wanted to go to at opening and we did everything we wanted to do. Believe me, if we had found it "oppressive", no way we'd be doing it again.

Don't you think they should've planned for this though? They obviously planned for a big response or they wouldn't have gone through the expense of making the videos etc.... "giving" hotels away to popular destinations... getting into the emails, clues, etc.. they KNEW it was going to be huge.

If they didn't they REALLY need to rethink being in a business like this...

well ladies and gents....i think i am officially going to go live my life today ....need to put my sweet baby boy down for his nap....off to the mall for some valentine pictures ...make some homemade chili later for tonight.....i'll leave chatango and LMT up....but i cant be glued to the board.
