I attempted to add in the location of the gondola station in the above photo, and draw in red to show where the current bus stops are.
The green shows where they have been doing the park to park buses. This is also where the path from Epcot and the Boardwalk dumps out (currently)
ETA - I think, based on what I could glean during our last trip, passenger pick up/drop off was somewhere around the yellow dot (it was at least on that side of the parking lots). But I never could find it myself. It was clear on the other side of the lots, near the construction areas, on our prior trip so I was totally at a loss and just went with a Minnie Van since that was at a clearly marked bus stop. I may actually go with Uber/Lyft TO HS on our trip next month. That way, I'll find the drop off spot (at least that day). We've walked close to where the new stops are to get to the old passenger drop offs and it's not all that bad quite honestly. Not near as bad as it seems in the photo

The only * to consider, you may have 20 min extra standing time, waiting on a boat. That article says an additional 10 minutes walk time from Epcot resorts. I think we will just take the boat.
Sorry, I was not being real exact. I should have made it clear. Just giving a point of reference to help those that couldn't picture it in relation to the gondola station shown in the other photoJust to add that the current bus stops fully encircle the handicapped parking, not just the side highlighted in red. The bus visible at the top left of the lot is at the Pop or AoA bus stop.
The temporary bus stops will be on the left side of the new loops. When construction is completed, they should move to side nearer the entrance. So in my estimation, the final location of the resort stop closest to the entrance will about the same distance or slightly farther than the current farthest stops: Pop, AoA, and the furthest All-Star. The farthest stop will be considerably farther, but for Pop, AoA, and CBR you'll have the Skyliner station much closer to the entrance.
So it's clear from the photos that at least some of the resort buses are dropping off in the new loop, but it's not clear whether they are also picking up here. The directional signage in the photos only says "Charter Buses" and buses to "All Parks."

It seems feasible that Disney will keep the current bus stops & handicapped lot open until the new resort loop is finished. They're not in the way of the new loop construction and old charter area demolition.
Right -- I forgot you put those 2 diagrams at the start of this thread. In the next couple weeks all resort buses will move to the new loop.
We will be making the walk from BW to HS in a few days. I will time it and see how long the new route takes. I cant imagine it taking more than five minutes more than the previous route.
Not sure if this is directed to me, but I am not "complaining". I am trying to understand how much further it is and how far it even is to begin with. I have never stayed at the Epcot resorts. Every question is not a complaint as some on here seem to think they are.I find it crazy that people will walk up to 10 miles going around the parks but complain about an extra 1/4 mile to the gates. The extra walking is not going to but more stress on your body.

Me too with the fear of dangling that high up. Soarin bothers me for goodness sake.I have a problem with heights when I am dangling. Not when I have something under my feet like a track. Monorail good, gondola bad.
The new bus stop looks like a good reason to continue to stay at a boardwalk area resort.

That's about right, I'd say. I don't walk fast and about what it takes us. And the lines for the boats is why we usually walk even though it is hot with little breeze. I just hate standing. I'd rather be moving, even if it takes the same exact amount of time.We walked to HS from BW tonight at 630 and it took 15 minutes but we walk fast. It was a very hot walk with little to no breeze. When we got to HS, the boat line had over 100 people in it.
