Hi all,

lol, don't let the screen name fool ya Before this week it was about 8 years since I went to Disneyland, and that trip was the first in a few years also.

Well, my wife wanted to take the kids to Disneyland (it was 12 years since she had gone). We got the Southern-California year passes and went 2 times this week.

I noticed all the people walking around with the pins and I got interested. After we went into the main pin trading store I was hooked. I walked out after spending over $75.

We got a few of the character pins, the 2003 'Year of Magical Moments' pin and the Haunted Mansion #3 Opera pin (I really like that one, lol) And the Passholder logo pin (as well as shirts).

But the biggest pin purchace was the 'Time Castle' pin:

We plan to go back next month sometime - I have a feeling we will spend more on pins. We have not done any trading yet - but we will try to do that next time.

Well, just wanted to poke in and say hi I am sure I will be in here quite often as my collection grows.

You have found a wonderful hobby and a wonderful group of people. The pins are exciting, but the people are even more fun. It will be really easy to lose control and spend more than you ever dreamed you could, but remember that the friends you make are free and we'll love you even if you don't buy every pin on the racks!

Have fun and say hi to all our friends in California when you go back to the park.
