Hello everyone my name is Melissa I am married to my wonderful husband and we have 5 year old just dying to go to Disney world. We are hoping to go the last week of august hoping it's not too late to plan. I love these board and read them all the time. Guess it's about time to start posting instead of lurking.

We will most likely stay offsite last time we rented a condo in mystic it was nice there just did not enjoy the high pressure sales presentation...looking for somewhere else this time around most likely a condo or townhouse. Does anyone have any suggestions

We've always stayed on site-- would you consider that? It does come with some perks:

- Disney's Magical Express. They give you a ride between the airport and your resort. And they'll deliver your luggage to your rooms for you, though it may take a few hours.

- Extra Magic Hours. The parks are open extra hours, some in the morning and some in the afternoon, for guests of the Disney resorts. (Admittedly, there are a bazillion Disney resort guests, but it does eliminate several bazillion who are staying elsewhere.) We do particularly well with the morning EMH.

- Access to the Dining plans if you're so inclined (we love them.)

I would love to stay onsite not sure it's in the budget this time but I do know there is free dining when we are going I may have to check it out

My son asked for us to go to Disney on a Thursday night , on Saturday morning I loaded him, my daughter and 2 of my sons friends in the car and we were at Disney on Sunday afternoon.

All I need is 3 hours notice for a Disney trip.
