Hello - just found my way here from The Dibb (UK Disney Site) and google - don't ask! - here I am :thumbsup2

Looking for information on specifics such as the QSDP as using it for the first time. Especially recommended locations with offerings more than Burgers & fries. Burgers and fries are ok occasionally, but not twice a day for 14 days when you're a diabetic:rotfl2:

Any links, or pointers gratefully accepted while I learn my way around this huge site.

Many thanks

Steve

I am going to move this to our Dining Plan boards. You will find a lot of the information you are looking for by reading over there. :)

Hi and welcome.

You can find plenty of variety at WDW in CS options.

In MK,
Cosmic Rays have a roasted chicken/rib combo, a cheesesteak sandwich and a turkey wrap that are very good and huge portion.

Pecos Bills offers a Taco Salad.

I believe there is a tuna sandwich at Columbia house or the plaza, can't remember which is which.

Epcot,
Sunshine Seasons offers a huge variety from Asian, a huge pork chop, an Italian sandwich and soups and salads.
Also most of the "worlds" in WS offer a CS of their foods.

AK
This is the hardest park to find alternatives as CS is limited here.
However there is ribs at Flametree BBQ.
Pizzafari offers an Italian sandwich as well as pizza.
Yak and Yet CS offers some asian dishes as well.

DHS
I know very little about this park, as we don't spend a lot of time here,
but you can find a ham sandwich and turkey sandwich at Starring Rolls.

DTD has Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck's Express....this place if awesome. They have pastas and pizzas, it is like eating TS for a CS credit. Definitely check it out!

Have fun and good eating!

The resort food courts generally offer a wide variety too.
Also, we have used a counter service credit for a scallop meal at Cooke's pf Dub;in. (Close to PI.) Not the greatest -- it breaded, deep fried scallops. (Waste of a good scallop IMHO.) However it was a nice change of pace.
Also counter service credits are good at all the counter service walk up eateries in World Showcase, which has a very good variety.
You will be surprised at how few hamburger choices you will see.

There is pizzafari in AK and pizza planet in DHS. I haven't eaten at either, but they are 2 CS options. Cookes of Dublin in Downtown Disney has items like beef and lamb pie, fish and chips, and fried candy bars.

The Doh bar at Cooke's of Dublin was not good at all. It was a deep fried Snickers bar. A regular Snickers bar is better, we both thought.
However we had always wanted to try it. And really kinda glad it wasn't very good. :lmao:
