New here with ? about discount codes

Can someone explain the discount code idea to me? I am just beginning to plan our trip. I am thinking of going in mid-May 2003 and staying at the Beach Club Resort. Will there be codes for this time frame or should I book now? I'm confused!

Also, I see that the renovations for the BC are due to be done by March 2003 - are they usually on time or do I need to be concerned about May?

First of all, if you want to stay at the BC, don't worry about the renovations. I'm sure they will be done before your trip next May.

No one knows for sure if there will be codes for next May, but it is certainly possible (even probable, in my mind). Look for them to come out starting sometime in January. Here are two places to check periodically:

When I call CRO, I just say that I saw an ad for discounted rooms that said to mention code (whatever it is) and would they check for availability for (my dates) at (resorts). It's very easy and the CMs get these type of call all day long.
