New here- What are AP rates?

Hi,
I am new here & am seeing many posts awaiting "AP" rates. What are these? We are going 2/4-2/9 and I booked everything through central reservations with Disney. We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Also, what type of discount is offered w/ AAA? (Aprox how much do you save by going through them?). Thanks for your help.

AP rates are "annual passholder" rates. These are discounts sometimes available on their resorts available to the passholders. They are often released months earlier. There are often blackout times for holidays or when the resorts are full.
