I too am a newbie and very excited to be here
I have been following the Atkins plan for a little over a year, kind of went off for awhile and am now back on with a vegence. I lost a total of about 18 lbs. while on it and incorporating exercise (LOTS of exercise!!) I generally run 3-6 miles/day and lift 3 days a week. I was wondering if anyone experiences any aches and pains, particularly back and hip problems, and what remedies you use to alleviate them. I have had chronic back problems, so I am reconciled to that, but my hip has really been bothering me lately and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or suggestions for me (BTW, I am 38 years YOUNG
