I'll be 25 weeks along when we (my husband, sister, her hubby and 2 nephews: 7yrs and 10yrs) go to Disney in July. Has anyone ever gone when you were that far along? This is my first, so I have no idea how I'm going to feel.... I've been to Disney LOTS of times, so this trip is really about the kids. I'll be able to rest lots and I've even been in July so I know what I'm in for as far as the heat, I just really don't know how I'll feel personally. Any opinions?

I am 26 weeks along right now and I go for walks daily. I am very tired but I also work 40 hours a week and have a 3 year old who refuses to sleep in her own bed all of a sudden. The heat might get to you alittle just make sure you wear comfortable shoes and clothes and drink LOTS of water. Take it slow and enjoy yourself.

My best friend went when she was 7 months pregnant and had a blast. It was her third child and her family are disney nuts as well!! She took very comfortable shoes (allowed for any minor swelling) and comfortable clothes and drank lots and lots of water. Just take it easy and have fun!!!

My wife and I just found out that she's pregnant last week - and we've been planning an October trip! We also have a 2+ year old... So, I'd also like to know what anyone thinks about going to WDW at 7 months pregnant, along with a 2 year-old little boy?

I just returned from our trip to WDW, April 16-24. I am 7 months pregnant, and we have a 22 month old & 4.5 yr old.

Dh was responsible for the strollers & diaper bag during the bus rides, while I had the kids.

I had so much fun, and do not regret going at all. I was tired, but I drank tons of water(and not much else bc I was so thirsty). We took breaks every afternoon to let me and the kids nap or rest at the resort. We had a "resort" day at the beginning and middle of the trip to rest from the parks. The weather was great. July will be much hotter as u know, so more water, more breaks, do a lot of shows/inside attractions, and go swimming. It did take me about a week to start feeling 100% after the trip, but the only problems that I had was a few contractions while we were packing bc I had overdone it that day before we left on our trip.

I have been to WDW with a 3 month old(free trip, parents paid), and it is much better this way with baby still inside. If anyone has nay specific questions I will try to answer.

Oh, I wore low rise socks with my very comfy, supportive athletic shoes. Sandals are too easy to make blisters, rub, fall off, or cause u to stumble.

I went at 34 weeks pregnant (in reasonably fit shape) with a 25 month old who is quite a handful. We had a great time. Lots of water and rest stops and lots of time at the pool and water parks. I would start walking/swimming/some type of exercise if you are not already doing something so that the walking isn't a shock to your system. Have fun!

We're taking our boys 4 & 15 months in 17 days, and I'll be one week shy of 6 months. Ever since we decided to go, I did a lot of research on going to Disney pregnant--been lots of times, but never pregnant. Here is what I gathered (in no particular order):

1) Talk to your doctor as soon as you know your plans. Mine gave me a pamphlet and talked to me a little bit & had me make an extra appointment for the day before we leave.
2) Be sure to get lots of rest while there, any time you start to feel the need. Just go easy and enjoy yourself.
3) Drinks lots of water. Duh.
4) Build up your walking endurance (slowly) at home. I personally walk 3.5 miles a day anyhow. Make sure the shoes you wear are super comfortable & the shoes you plan on wearing in the park.
5) You might want to invest in a "belly bra"
6) Invest in a belly support pillow. Boppy makes a great (small) one.
7) Avoid all rides with warnings (Kilamajaro Safari in AK might be the exception--talk to your doctor). I think I found a list in advance on allearsnet.com; there really is MUCH more you can do than can't.
8) Know where all the restrooms are and go often; at that point you usually have to anyhow & don't want to get caught in line with an emergency.
9) Lots of people have talked about soaking in or using some type of mint creame/oils/body bath from bath & body (?) at the end of the day (or mid day). Personally, I'm allergic so I haven't paid too much attention to this to know the details.
10) Check out the restruants you plan on eating at on allearsnet to avoid any aversions you may have or to help satisfy any cravings
11) If possible, stay onsite. It makes life easier if you have to take a quick break/nap. It also cuts way down on stress. Bonus points if you stay at a resort close to where you plan on spending most your time.
12) Check out the hospitals close by in case of an emergency (Celebration is what I've found to be better in my research). Don't forget to bring your doctors info & any pertinent medical info. with you. Better safe than sorry.
13) Dress very comfortably--light clothes, loosely fitting, etc.

I know there is more. I actually have a full list, it's just not near me right now. I'll post more if I remember later. If you do a search on these boards--you'll find little hints throughout. Passporter.com, allearsnet.com, and some other website I can't remember also have some good articles about going pregnant. The Unofficial Guide also has a blurb on going pregnant (not very helpful, but good to read anyhow).

Good Luck!

Thanks to all of you who have responded (and may respond later). We've been really excited about the pregnancy and our WDW trip, and we hope we can go ahead with our travel plans.

we went last june with our then 24 month old and i was 25wks pregnant. man was it HOT. we hit the parks at opening and left after lunch, went to the pool and didn't go back to the parks until after dinner.

the heat was energy sapping, i drank from my brita bottle literally non-stop. dehydration is the biggest concern, if you get dehydrated it will bring on contractions.

i've been twice while pregnant, (the first time with my older child), you have to skip the big rides but i find i have a more relaxed trip since i seem to be people watching or shopping a lot while dh went on the rides :)
