New here & could sure use some suggestions!

Hello!

I'm new to this forum but have been coming to Disney World since my honeymoon in 1979. My children grew up visiting Disney and now I would like to take the next generation...it will be my 3 year old granddaughter's very first visit.

We booked two rooms at Pop Century for October during Halloween week but due to an unfortunate set of circumstances, must move our vacation until Christmas week. I've been to Disney many, many times but never during Christmas so have no idea where to start really.

I'm assuming it will be next to impossible trying to find a decent rate, but would appreciate all suggestions and advice of any kind.

There will be five adults and one child and our vacation time is from 12/22 - 1/1.

Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much for your assistance.

You're going to like it here!!

You should be able to find discounts for at least part of your vacation. Are you looking at a *package* or room-only ressies? Try AAA (even if you're not a member, it might be worth the $50 or so to join!). If just one person in your group has an Annual Pass (or buys one) you can check on-line for the BRP (Best Rate Program) and that would save you some $$$ on a room-only ressie. You'd have to act quickly though, since you must book 60 days out (for 12/22 that would mean in 3 or 4 days); also the maximum you can book per reservation is 10 nights.

Check Expedia too. Also go to mousesavers.com for useful info on rooms and tickets.

Christmas is the most beautiful time of year at WDW.
