Yay! I'm glad! I thought it would bomb,lol. I just love close-ups! I would really like to see some of elderly grandparents! (Especially holding grandkids!) Anyone have any????

This is the closest I have. My mother isn't elderly though. When the holidays come around I'll have to get one with one of my grandfathers, one is 86, the other 88.

Mom is coming up tomorrow, I'll try and get more of a closeup.

I love it!! I agree she isn't "elderly" but she has that "grammy" look! You can just see the love!! Such a sweet photo! Maybe you could crop it to take out some of the background but then the babys' little foot would get cropped out.

Click edit above the pic in photobucket that is too big - then scroll down and click next to 75% and hit resize then come back to what ever page you have your photo posted on and hit refresh to see what the size looks like. I just keep redoing the above until it looks like a good size,lol. HTH!

This isn't much of a close-up but I just loved this pic. I still want to kick myself in the butt for it being so off center though! It was taken with my old camera also. You only get those "great pics" every so often and to me this was one of them! I decide to go with the antique color because I loved the contrast in their hair colors and it really showed the shadows.

Funny story. There is a little girl in the neighborhood who likes to 'borrow' my camera whenever we are together at an event, in this case a baseball game. I have a whole folder on the computer of pictures she has taken. She took these shots of my son. I was using to 75-300mm lens to get shots of the baseball game. That's why they are so close-up. He got a little shy after she took about 20 pictures of him. Here are a couple.

Then he turned the camera on her and this cool one where it looks like she is levitating the bat.
