Hello, Just wanted to ask a few questions and give you few details about me. I had lost 40lbs (I did Richard Simmions Deal A Meal) 7yrs ago then gained it back due to a death in the family. From then I kept struggling with my weght gainning and losing. I then had my DS 3 yrs ago. I went back to my pre preganancy weight. (which was still overweight) I then had my DD 9 months ago and have only gained 8lbs since having her. My total weight loss goal is 100lbs. But my short term goal is to lose at least 40lbs before going to WDW in February. On to my WW question

I just signed up for Weight Watchers online last night. Still trying to figure most of it out. I am having trouble finding how many points for a few things. I was looking for how many points for a regular ole bannana and I could not find it. I did find a Denny's bannana and it was listed as 1 point so I went by that. Also I am making a pork roast tommorrow night but not sure as what to go by for the points. I am thinking to just go by slice and count 3 points for each slice I have. Would that make sense? Thank You and any other info you could give me would be great. :wave2:

Congrats on choosing WW and more importantly, coming to WISH! I know a medium sized banana is listed as 2 points. As far as pork, I think you're right on that. But, if you want a GREAT resource for food, restaurants and a TON more information, check out www.dwlz.com. It's a site for WW followers and I never go a day without it.

Hope that help and let us know if you ever have any questions!

Welcome to WISH - have you taken the officical challenge yet? If not go to the top of the page and click on the thread to join in.

I've been doing WW online for 5 weeks now and love it.

The points area gives you three ways to find points.

First is the search area - if you put banana it says that a large is 2 points. Click on the word itself and it will bring up a box you can customize with your portion size (for your banana example you can then pick from: large, medium, small, extra large, cup, pound, oz. and gram). You can then also put in a number. So you can either call it a medium banana and put in one and get the points or weigh it and get the ounces and put the in the ounce number, choose oz. and get the points.

The second area is for your favorites. This really helps me with meals as there are some meals I do a lot (like my cereal and milk each morning). One you have it entered in you can click on the "save this as a favorite button". Then the next time you want it you just go to the favorites area and pull it up.

The last area is the points calculator which is good for when you have something preprepared with a nutrition chart on it. You put in the calories, fat and fiber and it figures out your points.

Together these three great tools make it easy to keep track of points.

If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask either here or via pm.

Good luck I think you've made a great choice with WW online!

Congrats on starting WW's. It's a great program, that has really changed my life. I count banana's as 2 points, if I eat a whole one.

Welcome to WISH!
