that MNSSHP was going to be going on 2 out of the 5 nights that we are going to be at WDW.

Does anyone know what happens if you dont want to go, is the park closed if you have not paid for the MNSSHP ticket. I guess I have never gone at this time of the year before and I was think at the end of Oct this would be going on. Any ideas for what we should do? Do other parks have things going on too or just the MK?

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, MK closes early on those days and you need a separate ticket for admission to MNSSHP.

Park closes to regular guests at 6 pm, MNSSHP begins officially at 7pm, but there are lots of reports about people being allowed in after 4 pm with only their MNSSHP ticket.

And when you buy tickets you can book either Tony's or LLT for dinner, even if it's earlier than 90 days!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party....

Trick or treat in the Magic Kingdom...it is GREAAAAAAAAT!

Park closes to general admission at 6pm and the Halloween Party starts at 7pm. Halloween lights and characters in "costume"!!!

We saw Mickey as a cowboy, I think...Donald Duck as a timberjack....

Only th MK closes early to regular visitors, on specially scheduled nights, in order to prepare for the MNSSHP hard ticket event. The other parks -- EPCOT, DS & DAK -- all remain open to visitors as per their regularly scheduled operating hours.

For those who choose not to attend MNSSHP, there will still be plenty of other options for enjoying an evening outside of the MK. You can visit any of the other three major theme parks, head over to Downtown Disney, etc..

Other DISers have said the other parks will sometimes stay open later to offset the MK closing at 6:00. That's why I am not going to plan for the "normal" EMH schedule because I bet it will be all juggled around. The historical hours show AK closing at 5 PM and MGM closing around 7:30, with at least part of Epcot open until 9 PM.

They are actually having MNSSHP on three out of our nine nights. We have tickets for the 16th and if we love it we might go again on the 20th if there are still tickets available. We aren't interested in trying to go on a Friday night, so we'll just do something else. Maybe even go offsite for dinner with some friends.

I am sure there will be plenty of other options on the MNSSHP nights for those who prefer not to attend. :)

MNSSHP is worth every penny. I went last Oct, I think is was about $35 a ticket, but it was great.

What is MNSSHP and what is this about the parks closing early? :confused3 We only purchased the basic tickets. Anybody?

Check HERE to see what MNSSHP is all about. MK closes at 6 on the nights is runs to people without tickets for this event. I loved it the year I went and I'm an adult with no children. :flower:

Myst

for all the great info. We will have to think it over. I never really thought of it since Halloween isnt until the end of the month.

Animal Kingdom typically closes early so you probably wouldn't be able to head over there after the MK closes.
