New!.....help!

I am new to this board and is planning a trip for my family of 5 towards the end of this year. I have read through several posts and I must say, everyone seems so very helpful, but because this is my first visit, I feel I need a bit more" hand holding". We would love to stay at the Poly, my husband used to visit there when he was a child, not as a guest, he stayed in the campground, and he always said when he returns, he is staying there! I would like to know how and when is the best way to get the lowest room rate. Thanks for any help.

If you want to book this yourself the best way to familiarize yourself with money saving tips is to check out www.mousesavers.com. Otherwise, I would recommend checking out the travel agency here on the Dis... Dreams Unlimited. Although I have not used them myself, I have heard they are excellent and will no doubt get you the best possible rate. I hope this helps!!!

I used Dreams Unlimited for my trip this past July. They are great, if new discounts come out they get them for you even after you book.
Also annual pass holders can sometimes get great room discounts.

Mousesavers and Deb's Site are two of the best resources for you. Keep in mind, though, that if you are new to booking vacations piece by piece and looking for discounts, it takes time and effort to get the best deals. As other's have mentioned, a Travel Agent is another way to go if you want someone else to help with the details. Many good things have been said about Dreams Unlimited - there should be link for then somewhere on this page.

Best of luck and I agree with your DS's choice of the Polynesian - we'll be there in less than two months!
