It is on Oahu at the Ko Olina Resort next to the Marriott.

I think it is going to be somewhere in this picture.

Blech - those western coast locations are B- quality compared to the prime resorts spots elsewhere on Oahu, Kauai or Maui. I really wish Disney had spent the bucks and gotten a better location. Kauai in particular would have been a better option; much more lush and a lot less commercialized than Oahu and even Maui.

I think the Ko'Olina area is quite beautiful and away from the craziness that is Waikiki and Honolulu, but we all have our own tastes. And FWIW, I think Disney is testing the waters with the Hawaii DVC and putting it on the most visited Hawaiian Island: Oahu. If it is successful enough, I could foresee DVC resorts on Maui and Kaui or even the Big Island in the future.
where is the 2011 hawaii resort to be at again I forgot? have you stayed in any of the marriotts in hawaii? I am thinking about buying the dvc hawaii but may not be able to vacation there but every 3 years, would this work. Or is it better to buy okw or so and use your points to go to maui dvc?
I've never been to any of the other Islands, but we drove all around Oahu and thought it was beautiful! I think I'd prefer something that was not so inhabited and commercial. I could not believe all the homeless and prostitutes that were in Waikiki the last time I was there!![]()
