They have some nerve increasing the price on a bag which they cannot make available AND has been having so many issues!

To me it seems like that they have probably sold 10 bags at a time each time the bag goes on sale on the website or in Mousegears in WDW. A $28 price increase on 10 bags is a measly $280 extra profit I get they can do it because demand is high but what is the point of raising the price if you arent going to sell a lot of bags.

I am just hoping that the reason the price went up is because they plan to stock more. (possibly in other sizes). I don't know why they even had the link on their site at all if they weren't planning on having more at some point. For example, when vinylmations cases sell out you can't find them on the disneystore website anymore. They dissapear.

I am hoping they add more and will probably keep trying until September of 2014. After that...trying for a year is enough if it shows up online it shows up online.

What a magical margin increase for the buyer to report to his superiors. The price increase makes me angry but why wouldn't they test the increase as they know the demand is there. If you think they aren't aware of the bags going for over sale price on Ebay you are mistaken.

Soon you'll need to book and pay for a special dinner in order to have the chance to buy the bags like Vera...lol. Just kidding but wouldn't be surprised.

Interesting. Magentarhps93 was able to get the discount Monday. Getting a discount really wasn't important; I just wanted the purse!

I was just using the DRVC discount, too. Maybe they've changed the restrictions? I remember getting that message that the discount specifically didn't apply to the purchase (not the exact words, but that was the gist of it). I was annoyed but it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

Not me, that's for sure. Remember ladies this is Dooney and Bourke for goodness sake! Not a real luxury brand, and I think they've proved that with their bad customer service and quality issues. I'll still want one but you'll never catch me using it outside the theme parks. At $358 we are talking airfare FL! Or a good chunk of a LV that I would use for the rest of my days.

Anyway, I hope every one that wants one gets to own one!

I got my purse!!!! After waiting all day for the UPS guy, DH & I went for a quick bite to eat around 5. Got home at 6:25 & there was the box on my porch!! According to the tracking site, it was delivered @ 6. It feels like Christmas: excitement waiting for the delivery, sloooowly opening the box & unpacking it & then.....? Now what do I do?? It is very nice--not pretty like my Princess Marathon or Main Street Mickey bags, but it is cool, in a "clique-y" kind of way. I probably will use it once or twice now then save it for the fall. I'm very happy!!

Its the opposite for me, this is my first Disney Dooney, firstly, my favorite attraction and it isn't so "Disney", and I can use it year round on and off(outside of Disney) and only a Disney fan can really spot it out, kinda like a hidden Mickey Focusondisney, so excited for you!! My tirn for Xmas tomorrow!

Thanks! If I hadn't just got the very cute Main Street Mickey satchel 2 weeks ago, I'd probably use it all time now too. But after a long, hard winter, I need the pretty light color purse to help celebrate spring/ summer. I usually carry a black purse all winter, so I'll have plenty of time to use this.

Seems like it right now. I saw them at Disney Studios on May 8 & 9th & at MouseGears in Epcot on May 10th. I haven't read any reports of Disney Store having them yet. It is really cute! I have gotten several unsolicited comments on it already.

That is the scary part. They tell you they have no idea what the result will be. I asked to be contacted before any decision is made and put my cell phone # down.

They never contacted me before sending that hideous red/green bag. Then they told me I have to return the red/green bag before they can even look into finding me a purple bag. I mailed the bag back on Monday, so now I'm just waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully, you won't have to go through the same thing.

I got mine! I absolutely love it! It is a hair too big for me- but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Now I'm just afraid to actually use it/touch it/breathe on it! I'll be posting a video review a little later tonight!

Yea!! Happy for you! I used mine today, wanted to try it out. It's ok with the top folded down. But it was a bit of a pain folding/ unfolding along with zipping. But like you, I think I'll get used to it. I just hope if they come out with different styles later in the year, there's not a size I like better. I am happy now & want to stay that way!
