Sorry if I missed this but is the lining all cotton? Did they do away with the suede? Congrats on the bag!!!

No, they didn't do away with the suede. The lower portion is cotton; the upper is suede. If you look at a picture of the bag, where the tassels are sown on the outside is where the suede starts on the inside.

Congrats!! I understand about just looking at it-- mine is sitting on my dining room table. I think I go out there every few hours just to look at it! Can't believe it's mine after all these months of waiting!!

Has anyone else noticed the ridiculous number of these on eBay now? Several are from the online Disney store. I wonder how many that were bought last week are actually being used by the person buying them and how many were bought just to be put on eBay.

I check this thread every so often. Maybe once a week. I love the purse, and have never owned an expensive purse before. I'm more of a target kinda girl.

So I now realize that it was available for a very short time, and looking through these threads it was on a Monday morning between 1:00 - 4:00 am?!?! Congrats to all of you that finally got one!

Disney isn't making this very easy for the general public, that's for sure (yes, gross understatement)

We'll be at Disney in one week. Should I check Mousegears? Mondays might be better I from what I read here? Any tips on strategy are appreciated!

I like the purse, and I will pay the $358. But getting up at 1:30am I won't do....

29 of them on eBay right now...and one of them still at $1,899. Apparently that seller didn't notice that there are lots more significantly cheaper...but still significantly over the retail price, of course. Maybe they are just waiting until those are all sold, leaving the abyss wide open again! While I have bought my fair share of things on eBay (like Vinylmations, where I don't want to spend $15 on a toy/collectible at the park and not even know what I'm getting until I have paid for it) and cannot begrudge someone for trying to make a profit, I can still be a little ticked off about this sort of abuse. I suppose there is no way to regulate this other than limiting the number of certain items that can be purchased at one time (which Disney has done with a variety of things), but I can still be royally annoyed, I suppose.

I believe when they were spotted at Epcot last week it was on a Thursday. It was because of that spotting, in addition to another pic on the website being photoshopped with purple lining , I had a feeling that they just might pop up on the website soon. Since I have read that Mondays are typically when new items are added, I made a point to check online around 3AM (ET) this last Monday, and there it was! I would suggest looking daily (mornings especially) while on your trip.

I was a little worried, paying that much for a bag I hadn't actually seen. Especially all the comments about how big it was. But I think the size is perfect. And it's absolutely gorgeous!

A PP said that the HM bag priced increased. I was just on the website and noticed that more of the Dooney line seems to have gone up in price. The WDW Retro Satchel that I got on a previous trip was $245 and has been raised to $268. If I am remembering prices correctly it seems that a lot of the available items have been jacked up in price as well....

My bag is getting here tomorrow! I'm going to make a YouTube unboxing video so people can get a really good idea of how they look on people and how they actually fit. (I really would have liked one!) If anyone's interested I'll post the link here! All the pixie dust to those still waiting!
