So for those people who had this before, how does the new program compare?

did the old one give you discounts? I don't see that on the new one, or $gc with the $25 membership.

I am wondering if it is worth ot for going 2x a year.

Thanks for any input.

NOT PARTICIPATING LOCATIONS

Orlando Hotel

The Hotel Rock Shop, LIVE and the Cafe are all participating but the hotel is not.

I did get a $15.00 GC when I enrolled. Also a bag and a pin.

Bummed that the hotel opted out -

I wonder if they will accept You First Rewards since they are not patricipating.

I have a call in to ask that very question! They have distanced themselves from Loews, and now they opted out of their own reward program. I just returned from there on Oct 1st after signing up for the new program and wouldn't have if I knew HRH wasn't included. They had a kiosk in The Rock Store.

They (Loews) accept the stay as qualifying but that's where Loews perks end.

Well, I am still going to ask for free gym access when we go in December. I also signed up for the VIP program before I read the fine print. It never hurts to ask. The gym is the one thing my husband uses when we stay at Universal. If not then I my have to rethink where we are staying.:furious::furious::furious:

Do you have to enroll in store somewhere to get gift credit? I don't see any mention of this online?

It wasn't mentioned when I enrolled but when I went online it shows a $15.00 reward credit.

I would also ask for the gym access! :thumbsup2

I think I read that you used to get a discount with the AAP on food at the kitchen and HRC...I don't see anything aout that, just points awarded. I am understanding that right?

Do you get an AP or AAA discount at either of those?

This summer, I believe we got AP discounts, for sure on the room, but maybe at The Kitchen too. If it's a "deal breaker", Call to make sure. I hate that they changed the rewards program, but I guess they have their reasons.
