Got this announcement in this mornings paper.
Will be useful for those planning trips in the next few days.

could I please ask a question - does anyone know if you can take 500ml bottles of water on the plane IF they are bought after security, still sealed and have the receipt?
My DH drinks such a lot of water ordinarily (2+ pints an hour), so when he's in the air he drinks even more. We usually take at least 5 x 500ml bottles to supplement water supplied by the airline (Virgin this time). He's now getting a little worried that we can't take any with us, and that the airlines won't supply enough and he'll end up getting dehydrated - which is not the best way to start our hols. Or are the airlines making extra provision for water (over and above the tiny cups)?
TIA
Dee

After security you can buy whatever drinks you want and take them on the plane with you, so you'll have no problems. :thumbsup2
