New GOH Badges

The other day I called Days of Christmas to try and get another GOH badge. Today I got a call back saying they no longer have the plain red ones. They explained that the new ones were gold with black writing. I just wanted one more to go with the rest that we have. So do I get one gold one or a new set for everyone. Short story long as I tend to do. Does anyone have a picture of these gold and black Anniversary badges I would love to see one. TIA

GOH Badges and we asked for the Tink ones.DD is a huge Peter Pan fan! She told me that they would be engraved with black also. Last week somebody said that they had one of the Tink ones and that it was engraved in white. They should be waiting at the gift ship at POP in May when we get there.

I don't think the machine they use to engrave the GOH badges actually changes engraving colors. The color of the engraving depends on the underlayer built into the badge. All the machine does is scratch off the first layer from the badge to reveal the under color.

I just got mine from a Dis friend! You know who you are! We got Mickey and they are gold with black lettering! Can't wait to put them to use!

I would like to have a GOH. I will be going to WDW in May. What number do I call to have them ready for me? Will it be more $$ to have them ship to the pop century? If i pre-pay for them were will they be at when I get to the resort?

at 1-407-828-2042. Sometimes you have to leave a message and they will call you back. You can order them and pay bu a cc and they will send them to your resort gift shop and you have to give your name and an order# or tracking# and they are yours. That way you can save on the shipping fee. I hope this helps!

I wasn't implying that they do change the color for engraving. I was just passing on what Marina told me when she called. Sorry if I gave that impresssion or cause any confusion.
