New GOH badge designs at WDW

Thanks for posting the link! :sunny: My daughters already have GOH badges from about three years ago, but that new Tinkerbell badge is so cute! :teeth: I'm thinking I might have to buy her a new GOH badge since she is an absolute Tink lover.

:earboy2:

You can get a GOH at City Hall on Main Street in MK.

I saw those the other day! SAdly enough, they were no where to be found when we were down there. Wish Laughingplace wasn't so darn expensive! I LOVE the Tinkerbell one!

Not to sound silly for asking this question, but what are the GOH badges used for?!? Are they free at the parks? Thanks a bunch!

No, they're not free. They look like the CM's name tags, and you can get them personalized with your name, or your child's. It's just a fun little thing for the kids, really. The CM's will address your child by name.. just a little magic, and a cute souvenier!

You can find them in the Christmas store at Downtown Disney. You can have them engraved.

Last year I ordered the princess badges for my dds nd the cast member (red) one for my ds. They were great. The kids really got a kick out of the cast members calling them by name. THis year I really went overboard - I still have the original ones and I just ordered the "best friends" one for dds, Tink one for dds, Stitch and BUzz lightyear ones for ds. I just think they are adorable.

Are the red ones there? My DD lost her's last trip and I'm thinking about replacing them but I want to get her a red one like her sisters. TIA!!

They still have the red ones with Mickey as well as the new designs. You can also find them at Celebrity 5 & 10 at MGM Studios.

By the way, the new ones not only come with a pin and a clip. They also come with a ring which I am assuming means you can use it as a key chain or perhaps attach it to something else.

Just got my daughter one yesterday. Got it done at MGM Studios. I bought my daughter the tinkerbell one, way to cute. They come with a kit with the pin attatchment, a magnet attatchment and a keyring attatchment, you can choose which you want. They are $6 and engraving is free.

That's on the left as soon as you enter the park right? They do the engraving there? How long does it take?

I also saw them at the Christmas Store at Downtown Disney.

We still have our old blue ones with Pooh on them. I didn't notice this one with the new styles.

I must say... I think these were the best souvenirs we have ever purchased! I can't even count the number of resort guests and cast members who asked us where we got them!

They were also a big hit with characters and their "security" cast members. Alot of the characters wrote down the names of dd(6) and ds(4) when signing autographs. :)

Thanks SO much for posting the pics! So many to choose from now. My girls will go nuts! We still have ours from last trip, but I'd love to get the whole family new ones for next trip.....already getting excited, and have to wait a year! :earseek:

You can not get the Guest of Honor badges at City Hall. When we were down to WDW at the beginning of this month we saw them at the 5 & 10 store at MGM Studios, at the World of Disney store and at the Days of Christmas store, both in Downtown Disney. You can only get them engraved (for free) at the 5 & 10 store and at the Days of Christmas store. You must still have the tags on the badges if you buy them at the World of Disney store and take them to the Days of Christmas store or the 5 & 10 to have them engraved. I hope this helps! :teeth:

Thank you for the website to order the GOH badge. I just ordered the Buzz Lightyear for my son. He is going to be so excited.

Thanks for the link. Just put in an order for 2 badges for daughters. Can' wait to get them for our October trip. princess: princess:
