New Frozen Ride-what tier??

Except... that would be a kind of major disaster.

Virtually ALL of the most popular attractions at Epcot...
with the ability to only FP ONE of them.
Agreed!!

Mission:SPACE is not really sought-after by the preponderance of Epcot guests.

I haven't messed around with Fast Passes since they introduced the new picks. Is it possible to only do 1 fast pass, use it, then select another from any tier? Or still all 3 must be used like they've been where it's one from tier one then two from tier two?

If they aren't all tier 1, only other thing I could see would be to eliminate tiers at Epcot. But if there's no tiers then I just see everyone's Fast Passes being Soarin, TT, frozen. Creating long FP lines.

Whatever they choose..I know I'll be happy because I should once again be able to select Living with the Land as a tier 2 and have it available instead of tier 1 lol

Does anyone know if you get to Soarin right around park open... is the line reasonable??? This is a must do for my DD (6). She was heartbroken it was closed when we went in March. I am assuming Soarin and Frozen will both be Tier 1, and I will likely try to FP Frozen.

Yes,if you get there AT Park Open.

Be AT the tapstiles by 8:30 AM(preferably earlier).

I think to be honest it's hard to say how the line with Soarin' will be when it re-opens. I think there will be a lot of people that will try to get the Frozen FP and do the standby for Soarin' since it is the new thing. This may make the line much longer than it is now.

I agree and though it may take a few months but at least one, maybe 2 of these will become tier 2 (ala Tower of Terror at DHS) or at some point EPCOT will do away with tier system. I am not a fan of the tier system but reality is that the tier system is in the parks that did not offer many "E-Ticket" attractions. With that I do understand it rather I like it or not. However at some point with too many "true" tier ones it kind of defeats the purpose to have a tier system. Same will hold true at DHS when Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land open.

This is our problem also, we want to do both. But will the Frozen ride not open until 11:00 like the the rest of World Showcase?

Hmm I forgot about the changes with FP

Many think that it's a good bet that "Norway's" attractions will open at 9AM.
It may also be that Mexico will open then as well.

Stay tuned.

Hope so. We are staying at the Beach Club so I wonder if that will give us an advantage of getting there faster at opening then the ones coming through the main entrance?

Most likely no.

If anything Maingate Guests have been known to occasionally be let into Epcot a few minutes before International Gateway Guests.

This tiering cr*p and lack of rides at Epcot is why we stopped using FP's at Epcot with the new system. If we're on a family trip and going for rides we go at rope drop on an EMH morning and head straight for Soarin' (hoping the new 3rd theater will help some with the lines). Then we go to TT and if the standby line is ginormous we just single rider it. Mission Space never has that bad of a line either so we go there next. We generally leave Epcot as soon as we've had lunch. If we go to Epcot in the evenings it's for dinner and Illuminations not rides. FP's just seem to be of more value at the other parks where there's more rides available and less tiering. Seriously wish they would add something new at Epcot (besides the Frozen thing).

Yes,Early Frozen Mornings coming to an Epcot near you!:)

Yeah .... this MK thing is just practice for where the sold out dates will be = Frozenland, Avatarland, Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land.

To OP: I believe 1000% that Norway will be Tier 1 destinations along with Soarin', Test Track = multi Epcot days is their hope.

:sad2:

IMO, the whole point of the tiering at Epcot and DHS was that there weren't that many "e-ticket" attractions at those parks, so if you got to pick 3 FPs, it was almost a no-brainer that you'd take Soarin' and TT every day. Once the Frozen stuff opens, there would be 4 major attractions at Epcot, so it would become more like MK.

Personally, I'm hoping the tiering at Epcot goes away once the Frozen stuff opens. That would make the most sense to me. We have four days at Epcot, and if the tiering stays in place, even we would be considering not FPing one of the Frozen attractions.

I hope they do away with the tiers at Epcot. As it is right now if they put the Frozen ride in the 1st tier we may not get to ride it or Test Track because Soarin is our first pick.
It will cause a lot of hassle for people trying to ride those 3 rides. I have booked an early breakfast to try to get a jump on the crowds and I'm sure others have too.
