NEW Free Dining Pin!!

I called this morning to see if I had a free dining pin on my account and I did!!! all booked now for Caribbean Beach resort excited!!!
 
If it's a 15 digit code, then it's a PIN. If so, you should call back and have it applied to your reservation if you want FD. Or make a new reservation with the PIN if you don't already have one.


I think I have one then!!! My MIL doesn't see one in her inbox :-(( we need 2 to book our whole party. If I am correct you can book 3 rooms with each code.....Someone correct me if I am wrong. And if my mom got one we couldn't use it unless she was coming with us, correct?
 
Just called and no such luck for me. Guess we will have to stick with Coronado Springs. In all the years that we have been to Disney, we have never received a PIN.
 

I'm so bummed. I keep checking for a pin, but no luck:( I keep calling disney and having them check.

YAY! :yay: Yes, you can book 3 rooms with a PIN. And yes, if you're using a PIN that is in your mom's name she needs to be on the reservation.

Strangely enough, the PIN I got yesterday was sent to my email but with my 13 year old granddaughter's name and address, she usually travels with us but not this upcoming trip. I thought I was out of luck but the CM checked, I guess with a supervisor, and was able to apply it to my reservation. LUCKY! And super nice CM. :worship:
 
The CM didn't see mine in her info for me, but said they would honor it since I received an email with it. Now just waiting for pixie dust to get to my in laws email.

My advice is... even if you don't have a PIN call anyway and just let them know that you prefer to stay at POR or FQ (since it seems those are the resorts most people are trying to get as they weren't originally included in FD) and that you were hoping to get the FD.

I got a RO code and when we called to book, the CM asked if we would like the FD included. We didn't want it, but it was available if we did.

Also, our friends are going a week after our trip and they wanted FD at POR but had no code, so they just called up and requested POR and then asked if they could get FD included. The CM put them on hold, then came back and said "Sure, we can do that for you".

Not even sure at this point if the PINs mean anything or if they'll just hand you a FD discount randomly depending on who you're speaking with.

I do know that rooms at POR and FQ are booking up fast through almost all of Sept (the CM mentioned it when our friends called, and said they were lucky as it was one of the last couple Standards they had left for all of Sept).
 
My offer came through email at 5:30 and I called at 7:00. By that time there were no Standard rooms at POFQ, so they gave me Garden View. Still saved $700, so definitely worth it. My reservations are in the middle of November, so I'm guessing rooms are going fast.
 
I received a PIN code in my email today, and was able to modify our reservations to POFQ. I made reservations at ASMu with free QS dining and upgraded to regular dining when the general offer came out on Thursday. Now we are at PO w/ free regular dining. I am willing to pay the extra to stay at POFQ where I wasn't willing to pay it for CBR and CSR was sold out by the time I made reservations. I just couldn't make myself pay to stay in a Pirate Room. :-)

The rep on the phone said she has been handling calls like mine all day and that lots of people have been calling and asking if they had PINS for this and she's had to tell them "no".
 
Another round of PIN's went out last night I guess... I am now booked for 10 days at POR!!!! in a RGR :) couldnt be happier!!!
 
What gives anyway?

I have received 4 FD PIN codes in the last 4 days (all with different PIN numbers). Considering we are already booked at POFQ, I'm not sure why they keep sending me a new FD code every day while other people, who so desperately want one, aren't getting them.
Definitely must be a glitch in the way the system spits out codes.

Not that I'm complaining... I'm glad I'm getting the PINs and hope they keep coming for future trips, but I'm already booked on a PIN for the Fall. Why do I keep getting new ones in my email? Seems unfair... spread it around Disney!
 
Ok just called - again! This time I explained we'd booked CBR as a second choice to POR but I'd seen online that some people had managed to get POR. The very nice CM explained PIN codes to me but didn't offer to check if I had one or "see what he could do". I don't seem to have any luck with these things!
 
I hope this is ok to ask here, but I was wondering if the offer includes the little mermaid rooms @ AOA? I know everyone is excited about PO being included (SO happy for you all!) but I haven't seen anyone mention little mermaid. We are currently @ CBR and super excited about it since we have never been but i can save about $1000 if we can get in little mermaid and i adore AOA so id probably switch if its included in the pin. I have called Disney about 10 times this last week and don't want to call checking for a pin if little mermaid isn't even included. ;) Thanks guys!
 
If you are using a TA could you call to see if you have a PIN code and if you do just pass on the info to your TA? I feel really ignorant because I'm not sure what to say if I call. Do I just say "Hi my name is blah blah, I was wondering if I have a PIN code attached to my name?"
We have a FD package at CBR but would really like to be at POR. We are only 3 and would actually like the royal room.

I don't use a TA but did call Disney yesterday to ask if I had a PIN code but the CM said I wasn't even on the system. I'm not sure she put the details into the system correctly as I've just booked CBR with free DDP!
We're not the kind of people who get lucky with PIN codes and CMs who "do us a favour"! I phone and just get told "no, sorry". Unless POR gets added to the GP pot I've no chance.
Anyway I should be happy I'm going at all and start looking forward to CBR!
 
I have a ton of emails on file with Disney and NEVER get a PIN. Yet, my 14 year old gets one every time. I went and looked and, yep, she has this one too.

Use it! I have never gotten one but both my kids get them and have used them with no problem:)
