New free dining pin

So have a question of those who have done the bounce back offers...what do you have to pay up front? What I mean is you are at Disney and are told if you book now for next year you can have free dinning...if I say "YES" then what do I have to pay right then??
Would love to get the offer but are usually on a very limited budget when we are down there are would not be able to afford to pay much for the reservation.

Booking a bounceback package you are only required to put down a 200 dollar deposit. Same as with any other package.

I got the Pin today too for QS dinning, but Ive already booked my trip and payed for the dining plan(1TS, 1 QS and 1 snack) can I still use this PIN and upgrade the QS package?

I called to have the QS code applied and we actually do better with the 35% off room rate we have. If it were a family trip the QS code would definitely be better. Since it's just DH and myself it's not as good a deal.

I got a pin for a QSDP today too!

BUT, can you add this to a vacation that you already booked? My family and I just booked our vacation last weekend and now we have the code...any advice?

This happened to me last year when the 4/3 deal was extended until mid-December; I was booked and fully paid at POR for the week after Thanksgiving.

Since POR was already full, they could not offer me the 4/3 deal at POR.

They offered me a $350.00 savings at CBR
They offered me for $800.00 more I could stay at AKL

Neither appealed to me.

They came back and offered me for a $200.00 savings, a studio at SSR - which I took.

Be prepared to be flexible - if rooms are already booked in the resort you are already reserved, then the offer won't be extended to that resort.

Discounts are meant to fill rooms.

Does the check-in plus 14 days apply to the FD promo as well? If we checked in 10/2, we could stay 14 nights and get FD, or no?

I got this too, but we want to go in the fall instead. Too short notice to go now...I would go in May (if DH could leave work) and upgrade to DP, but a few quick searches tell me all desirable ARDs are booked. So, I'm back to FD code watch for fall. It was nice to get a PIN anyway

I got an email today which I thought was the Free DIning pin but it was just telling me about the GC!!! ARGHHH!! This is our FIRST trip to Disney & this is not leaving a good feeling with me.. it just does not seem fair that some people get these & other people do not & there is no rhyme or reason to it! I am sure we will have a great time but not sure if we will go back anytime soon.

I have been traveling to Disney consistently at least once a year since the year 2000.

I had already booked my trip for this year as soon as I returned in December and have booked the cruise portion of my trip in 2011.

I have received only one code in ten years and it wasn't for the week I was going, so I didn't use it.

Don't let not getting a pin code stop you from going to the greatest place on earth.

I received an email yesterday! It was a pin for "free QS dining"
I was all excited we are going to WDW 4/24-28...
here is the downfall way back in 2001 I had listed my email address for a friend who was planning a trip and did not have an email address.
She is not traveling with us! can't use it...
