New free dining offer yeaaah

Called at 8:03 EDT, held for about 20 minutes and made reservation for 12/3-12/11 at All Star Music Family Suite (there are 6 of us). Took about 10 minutes on the phone with the CM. The CM didn't have any problem with finding the free dining and asked where I found out about it (I told him I saw a post this morning about it). Save a bit over $1300 with free dining.

First off - THANKS!! to Danny for the spot on info! Much appreciated.

After about 90 minutes of dead air on the phone to Disney I gave up - not sure that call was ever going to be answered. Sure these have been posted but as DisBoards are suffering also here they are again:

If those black out dates are correct (Oct 9 - 29)I no longer feel so bad about missing out on FD. When I was missing it only by a few days it HURT!

On hold an hour and twenty minutes...dead silence...then all of a sudden the music starts...just about jumped out of my skin!!

I really need more coffee and a bathroom break but I am not leaving this phone (cell but plugged in to the charger) ...is that too much information??...

Nope I needed a bathroom break as well. I figured if I went they would pick up...It worked.

I am still confused. When I called and spoke to the CM this AM, she said 10/9--10/29 is blacked out. This is also what MouseSavers says. Where are people getting the info that says 10/23 is in the Free dining? Thanks for any help!

Mousesavers had it as 10/23 as of about 15 minutes ago. I just refreshed the screen & it now says 10/30.

My 1st 3 nights of my 10 day trip are blacked out. FD will still save us quite bit, even doing a split stay. Now I'm just worried about getting park tickets 2 days early.

Someone posted dates that extended well into September 2012. Guess that was wrong.

Yeah, only goes out till March.

Wish I knew a way around the computer that answers the phone and go straight to a person.......finally got back on to try to modify....hopefully will not have to speak to the "computer" again

On the phone now! Only on hold for 20 minutes. Speaking to a CM. I had to push our dates back a week, which means we will be leaving a week early. I am not complaining! The CM I spoke with was very nice and said that the longest wait time shown on hold is 95 minutes. I had silence for 15, thent he music came back....then I had a CM on the line. Good luck fellow DISers! We are now going Oct 8-15 and I am off to plan all my new ADRs!
