Any one use it yet? Can you get on MDE to book or is it crashing? Personally I hate the new time. I'm on the west coast so that's 4:00 AM to me. Not very convienent. Midnight was so much more convenient. 9:00pm for us.
Even if it was for 7:00AM my time, it would be a horrible time. Most people have to get ready for work & get kids out for school. I know I have to be at work for 8:00, so wouldn't have the time to book my 10 days of FPs.

So for those of you that have booked at 7:00 how is it working out for you. I've read FPs for some of the most popular attractions are showing no availability right at 7:00. How is this possible?

I liked the old time better, too (Texas time: 11pm was easier than 6am). However, I've had no issues with availability with our July trip. Even able to pick & choose from many different Frozen Ever After times several days after initial availability. There are only two of us, though, so that likely helps.

I had to switch my trip from August to July 16th and I was able to book all the fastpass times that I wanted including Frozen, 7 dwarf ride, and Soarin. As a matter of fact, there were lots of times to choose from. I just booked my FP yesterday.

The change took place last Saturday and as far as I know, that was when they were having issues with the site crashing. Several new things opened that day too so there was a huge surge on the site at 7am. This was also the day that people were reporting FPs not showing right at 7am(I was one of them). Since then, I don't think it's been much of an issue.

It's almost a full time job keeping up with planning for WDW trips. Whew!

I agree that the new time is terrible. Haven't tried it yet but I'm not looking forward to it. Booking FP while trying to get everyone out the door for school? Yeah, that sounds fun. Imagine the moms standing on the bus stop corner booking FP because the bus picks up at 7. Or the kids late to school because the site was too slow.

For our trip this June during the last week there are still FP's available for some of the popular rides. I have modified them several times including yesterday. Now if you are not staying onsite and are booking at 30 days you may want to get the most popular ones at 4:00 am. At 60 days I don't think getting up at 4:00 am is necessary. Just do them when you wake up.

I booked everything easily yesterday at 7am eastern, the hard work was all the planning beforehand. Working around ADR's and show times, after you complete them, you can go back in, I started with my latest one, and worked my way back and was able to tweak them pretty close to what I wanted. You may need to refresh many times, but it pays off. Last night I was able to move some around with no problem, so I definately do not see the madness I saw two years ago.

Yep. This morning (6/1) I was able to book for 7/1 at 4:10am eastern. Woke up to go to the bathroom so I figured I'd give it a shot. Either my app is a fluke or 7am is not the correct time.

Someone from another disney planning board said she was able to book it a midnight on APP only in the past couple days. She too is an AP holder.

That's interesting. I tried shortly after midnight when the change was originally announced and it didn't work then. I'll have to give it another shot at midnight and see what happens. Wish I had known this for my MK day!!

Is it possible they are giving out more fastpasses? Making their requisition easier but standby lines even longer?
