I keep thinking it was something Bob said but I searched the boards and came up empty. It is a bit early though - I'll keep thinking about this today. It hasn't made it to the tip of my tongue yet.

Okay, I think it's time to manage some expectations here.

When I said there was going to be a 'format change' in January, I was not suggesting that I would be up-ending the show all together. There will be a change in hosts, there will be some new segments added to the rotation and perhaps a few surprises if I can work them out.

I'm keenly aware of what makes the show successful and we're not going to tamper with that. We will NOT EVER go to a 'skype' format under any circumstances (not knocking anyone who does that, but it's not for us), nor will I be doing a 'rant of the week' (my rants don't work like that - they happen in the moment and are never pre-planned - if they were, it wouldn't be the same).

Just want to make sure everyone understands that by 'format change' I don't mean a completely different show.

One thing I always thought that would work great would be having an interview with Jim Hill (from Jim Hill Media) from time to time. Here is someone else that would give an honest assessment of what is happening in the Disney Corporation, and would fit in with the honest assessment that the Dis team gives.

What I love about the podcast is that it's like hanging out with your own family. I end up laughing at all of the inside jokes from episodes past that wouldn't be funny if you explained them. It's like that with our family humor. As long as that doesn't change I will be happy with the new format.

The Blackberry podcast I listen to does Skype and the quality is HORRIBLE. Half the time you can't even understand what they're saying

I have to strongly disagree with you on this one. I personally think Jim Hill is one of the best, most relevant Disney bloggers on the net right now. His information is usually spot on, and I think he offers a perspective that's fresh and informative. I'm a big fan of his

What is his background? Where does he get his Disney information?
