New Food and Wine Fest Dinners...

Thought I'd pass the word that there are 2 new Food and Wine Festival Dinners available.......The first is a Signature Dinner on Nov. 9th (Piemont Italy at the American Adventure Rotunda), the second are Food and Wine Pairings each Fri-Tues of the Festival at Alfredo's (Banfi Italian Wine, Chocolate...) Called this morning and got seats for the signature dinner.

I just hope they don't cancel it. I'm sure they added it because of all the calls being made to see if there were any openings at the CG signature dinner. However, most of those calls were from me LOL.

Its at the American Pavilion Rotunda AND WE DON'T NEED PARK ADMISSION. We meet in the Epcot parking lot.

Ed- Have you called to be placed on the waiting list for the CG dinner? I was on the waiting list, and was offered 2 spots at that dinner yesterday - and at the same time was told about these new ones - I opted for the Italy dinner at Epcot instead of the CG one. There was a review of the CG one from last year not too long ago on the board- it wasn't favorable (compared to the outstanding reviews of the other dinners). I thought I'd try the new one, what with the Chocolate and all (Plus, I really like Banfi winery's sparkling wine - it's YUMMY)- and I like the thought of dining in the American Adventure Pavillion too- Maybe we'll be table mates!! Thanks for the heads up...just called and got the wine/chocolate pairing.

It will be great with our other signature dinner/pairings we already have reservations for.

Can't wait for food and wine fest this year. I am glad to see there will be some new things...especially in the area of beer.

Yes and No. The first few times I called in July, I asked if there was a wait list and they said no. So I stopped asking and whenever I called lately I have just been asking if there were any cancellations.

Thanks again for posting about the new dinners. I would never have gone back to the web page to see if they added any new ones.

Disney sure doens make it tough for me to give them my money.LOL

BTW, I was told to meet in the Epcot parking lot. Were you told whether or not we will be bussed or chauffered(sp) over, or do we walk through Epcot?

I don't remember now that you mention it- I was planning on going to Epcot that day anyway- but now that I'm thinking about it- we'll have wanted to go back and change before dinner- guess I'll call them back! ABout the wait list- I wrote them a letter complaining about the phone procedures on July 24 and how disappointed I was, and they clalled me an offered to put me on a wait list -but that was a good week after July 24. I think the wait list was an afterthought for them. Jill
