Hi. I'm new. I've read the boards a few times, but never posted. I've never been to Disney. My fiance was there once almost 20 years ago. Our daughter is now 4, so we decided to take the plunge! We're going Sept 18-24! We're very excited!

I booked my trip a few weeks ago. Then, this morning, VERY EARLY, my TA calls and says I got free dining! Since she re booked us, we got a Savannah view room at Animal Kingdom which is what we had wanted in the first place! When we booked originally, it wasn't available for our dates and we had to do standard, which I guess looks at the parking lot I'm so excited.
I know the Animal Kingdom Lodge is far away from everything, but my daughter loves animals. She really likes giraffes, elephants, and zebras, so when I found out they had an animal kingdom, I knew we had to stay there even though it's not as family-friendly. She's 4, and her birthday is in 2 months, so I think she's at an age where she'll remember the trip and be able to appreciate it. I think she'll love waking up and seeing giraffes from the balcony
