Well I know i'm a bit behind with all the Disney news, but i've just read the soft opening is starting 19th November? If I go with the dates we had picked yesterday that will b 3 days before we leave! I guess its a silly question to ask how crazy its going to be?!

So....do I stick with 27th Oct -12th Nov....or 6th Nov - 21st Nov? :confused3

Pros & cons of the different date? All advice greatly recieved, its been 4 years since our last trip & our first with our DD who will b 3 & 2 months ( which i'm worried about too:worried:

Thanks :goodvibes

Soft opening means that they may open and they may close without notice.

Even if it soft opens, there is no guarantee that this will be opened all day. They may open it for a few hours, then close, then open again
the whole purpose is to "beta-test" the "land" with real guests.

So don't consider that it will be open. As a matter of fact, worst case scenario, it might only be open for a few hours in total during those 3 days. It might also be closed during the whole time.

They may also only open it for annual pass, DVC or resort guests. We've been to soft openings before when it was annual pass holders only

Thanks for that ladies, it would b a bonus to see it, but I spose i'm thinking of the extra crowds it may bring, thats also Thanksgiving week I think? :)

Might be worth bearing in mind 27th Oct is 1/2 term so flight prices may be a lot more flying out that date.
