New Family Suites at Disney vs DVC

I wonder if maybe it will give guests a "taste" of suite living. Perhaps this will send more guests to dvc. I agree that it is about time disney has seen the need for more options for larger families. With the increase in multiple births, especially triplets or more, larger accommodations at more reasonable prices were needed.
We got hooked on dvc by paying rack rates at BWV as well as OKW (2bdrm). We finally purchased in 2004. I think I would've eventually gone to larger accommodations anyway.
I know a few families that don't go often because of the expense of accommodations for large families. I know a few who have never gone solely for this reason.
I can see a w/e for my family in the future.

A good point.
I can't help but wonder about the wear and tear on these units. The pull out sofas take a beating in the DVC units and probably aren't used all the time. How would daily mousekeeping accomodate these? If a family leaves for the park at 9, all the sofas/chairs/ottomans are left out, do they straighten them and fold them back up?
I'm sure Disney has thought of it all, but these are points I find curious.
Are there suites at any of the moderate resorts? We ended up renting two adjoining rooms at POR in 2001, which helped seal our decision to buy at BW.

yes - CSR has some. but they aren't cheap at all. two rooms is probably cheaper...
