Just noticed on the Disney site that they have a listing for 2004 vacation packages and when you click the link it has the Fairytale package listed as the last one on the page....first is Dreammaker then Golf....

this is its description:
Disney's Fairytale Vacation Package comes complete with accommodations at a select Disney Resort, character art which includes a Mickey's PhilharMagic print and pin together in a frame (limited to one per room), and Disney's Ultimate Park Hopper ticket so you can come and go as you please through all four Walt Disney World® Theme Parks and more from the moment you check in until the end of your check-out day.

Disney's Ultimate Park Hopper ticket includes unlimited admission during your package stay to the Magic Kingdom® Park, Epcot®, Disney-MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, Disney's Water Parks (Open Seasonally): Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island, and DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park, plus Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex (excludes attractions/events separately priced).

Doesn't sound like the great offer they marketed under the same name this past summer.

After the great Fairytale Package stopped taking reservations in late June, there was still a Fairytale Package listed for 2003, just as seen in the post above. They kept the name and changed it to be similar to the DreamMaker, just with a different freebie attached. I'm betting they did this to catch a few people unaware that they weren't getting the 7 for 4 night deal.

I just checked. The same room we had this trip compared to 2004.

2004 is $1300 more expensive than our "orginal" FTP this year.

No deal.......

Just checked for my dates 2/7 - 2/13 (wanted to compare) and the FTP is not offered. What are the dates for this package?

Thanks,

The Fairytale package offered last year was listed as introductory with introductory prices and after the discounted offer was over, you could book the full price package and now it is available for 2004. It must be a product similar to the Dream maker? Where they offer it at discounted prices, like the Winter offer that is no longer available, but you can still book a Dream maker package, just no discount.

Im hoping there is no FTP next year. Oh my , we have been going the last 4- 5 summers in August , and ill tell you this summer was PACKED!!!!!!! I figured it would be really busy, but it was really really bad. And to top it off , first time we had rain almost daily. I know , you never know in Fla. but this was the SUMMER we should of stayed HOME!!!!! lol. I know it was a good pkg, but im praying that they dont have it next summer. If they do, we might just skip a year. oh well we will see!!!

Dopey's twin Dippy.... what dates were you there in August? My brother was there the 12th - 21st and he said the crowds were not that bad.

We are going next Aug. and you are scaring me!!

EEEKKK I checked March 2004 on both the FTP and the Dream maker package and its more like the nightmare package!!! For 6 nights at the BWI it was over $4000!!! That was for 2 adults one child standard view basic package only. I don't pay $4000 for my trips including all expenses!!!! I'm an AP holder and wanted to see what options we might have next year if I don't get AP's again. I'm not sure that we will be able to make at least 2 trips on the AP anymore since my son is in school now. But $4000 for room and park tickets only is crazy!!!
