Does it take you if the park with EMH has already closed? For instance, if MK closes at 10:00 and you want to go from MK to Epcot at 9:40, for EMH? Yes, I know it closes at 11:00 and you'd not have much time but the question remains, does the bus still run?

Can't help here, I took the 7:50 bus from AK to Epcot. AK closed at 8:00, and they said there would be one more bus at 8:20. I arrived at Epcot about 8:15, so before the park closed and EMH started at 9:00.

So on the other side of TH from where it was?
If you considered that corner near the safari the TH building
It is at the corner where you make a turn to follow the walkway over to the theater. Apparently, the original location, next to the Safari, was too congested an area. That set-up was quite nice. It is now a place to sign up for animal tours, as well as being used for a couple other things. IMO, the new location is not any less congested.

They have the Express Transportation placard standing at the new spot; otherwise, there is no way of knowing, other than asking. It's fairly easy to miss, especially with large crowds in the area.

the above is a good description. Basically they put it right over the bridge on the left hand side under the shade. The Express Pass people refer to it as their spot by the Dawa bar. It is where there used to be a FP+ location. The only problem with the new location is when FotLK gets out the area becomes chaotic so you need to aim to check in 10 minutes before departure time. Getting through the exiting crowds adds a bit of a challenge / excitement to the whole thing.

Has there been any experience what what happens with "Express Transportation" when a park reaches capacity? I'm thinking about Animal Kingdom reaching capacity in the evenings due to guests flocking to Pandora after dark.

Does anyone know if there is a minimum age to ride the express bus without an adult. I was there last week with just my daughter and her and I and we really took advantage of it. Going back in a couple weeks with the whole family and wondering if they would let my kids 16, 14, and 12 on it without me and DH. They always move faster than me and it would be nice if they could catch a bus to make it to a FP and I can take it slower and catch the next express bus.

You should be OK. To enter a Disney park without a parent you are supposed to be 14 or with someone 14 or older. I assume that applies to the bus as well.

12 could be a problem. To enter a Disney park without a parent you are supposed to be 14. Not sure if that applies to the bus as well or not.
It probably is the same age that it is to enter a park. I didn't think about that cause my kids have never gone to the park without at least one of us. I was just hoping. Every time we go my kids are getting faster and I am getting slower.

I updated my post. Your kids should be fine.

I really don't understand why they changed it. It's only a couple of steps from the old location but it's a mess of an area every hour with FOTLK coming out
Do guests have to walk between Tusker and Dawa to reach the backstage bus area?

I don't think I did. I don't know why they changed it
The Caring for Giants one-hour excursions begins tomorrow. Perhaps the guests meet in that Safari area where the Express Bus guests used to meet?

ETA: Found the answer from the Giants tour info:
"Please check in 15 minutes prior to start of experience at the Animal Experiences booth, located across from the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction entrance. Late arrivals may not be able to join the experience."

If I only plan on hopping once a day do you think this is worth it for a weeklong visit? Most of the hopping will be between MK and AK.

The CMs at the AK location stated that the check-in spot was moved because there was too much congestion at the original location, due to its proximity to the Safari.

The current entrance to the backstage area is through the gate that is just past the stroller area on the right and the Harambe Theatre on the left. It's a slightly shorter walk, once you go though the gate, than the original location.

Nothing to worry about. No park has closed to anything more than single day ticket guests in years. Even with the new attractions at AK it will be nothing to worry about for PH guests. The new areas in AK also mean more guests can fit in AK
