Just got off the Fantasy (wow!!) Became DVC members onboard & am excited to book Dis trip for June. Always wanted to stay at AKL. Grandparents, 16yr old & myself. Going to be too cramped in studio? Getting married in 2016 so don't want to use too many points next yr.

Congrats on your purchase. I think the best studio for a 4 person group would be OKW. Its the only studio with 2 queen beds versus a queen and a pull out sofa. Plus the room is a little larger.

Yes, too cramped for four adults. Agree OKW is the way to go if you must book a studio. Be aware that almost all buildings at OKW don't have elevators, though- which may or may not be an issue for the grandparents, if you are assigned a third floor room.

Personally, I think I would wait to book a larger accommodation so everyone has a little bit more room to enjoy, even the 16 year old!

Hope that you can ENJOY many GREAT years of DVC!
We have enjoyed many great vacations with our now adult sons and will be taking our first "childless" trip this December! Looking forward to taking the grandchildren one day!

We can't do 4 adults in 1 family in studio anymore way too small and not enough bathrooms. Plus studios don't have full kitchen which would be awesome to have with grandparents, and especially with a 16-year!

I agree that 4 adults would fit a lot better in a larger villa. If you can afford it "point wise" you would have a much easier trip. Good luck and enjoy.
