New Epcot pavillion?

I've been hearing some fairly strong rumours that a Spanish pavillion in World Showcase is about to be announced.

Paella and sangria anyone?

Also Paul Pressler (the man in charge of the Disney theme parks) has left to become CEO of Gap.
Most people in the know seem to think this is a good thing as they blame him for the supposed reduction in quality at WDW.

Regards Paul Pressler, nobody seems to be sorry he's going! There are several threads on the Rumors Board on this...... check this one out : Mind The Gap!

There is a small thread also on the Rumors board regards a Spanish Pavilion - one poster thinks the rumor is fake, another that is on the cards........ time will tell!

There will be shouts of joy at the Pressler news in certain corners of the Disney community. He seemed to take the brunt of criticism about the lack of major improvments to the parks, although I have no idea if this was warranted or not. Eisner also seems under pressure to improve things within the Disney empire, so I wonder if increased investment in the parks is now on the cards?

This Pressler thing is great news indeed. I'm glad he is going back to retail. He was president of the Disney Stores when my DW worked there, and the stores were greatly. But this was a case of someone getting promoted about their level. What he did for the parks may take many years to recover.
No doubt there will be a great going away party for him held by park CMS. Only they won't invite him.
Maybe now parks can go back to the quality and service they used to be instead of in many cases being shopping malls for the latest ride or character.
