New England Trip, any ideas?

Hiking on Mount Desert Island in ME. Touro Synagogue in Newport RI. Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield MA. Salem (history and maritime), Plymouth Plantation, Freedom Trail in Boston.

But yeah, like t&s said, just that list covers a range of hundreds of miles, and a vast range of different interests. We need more information to give better advice.

As mentioned, New England covers a lot of ground! And depending on the time of year, what people suggest would be different. If you are coming in the winter, skiing or snowboarding is great - the teens love it. Shopping is always fun - outlet malls in Kittery Maine and North Conway and Tilton New Hampshire are sure hits with a teenage girl.

Let us know where and when and I'm sure you'll get lots of specific advice.

We took a 10day roadtrip thru the Northeast this past summer and had a blast! OUr kids were 9, 12, 14. We went to Niagara Falls (I recommend the Cave of the Winds tour), Baseball Hall of Fame, Boston (I recommend the Freedom Trail), Cape Cod, New York City (Loved Ellis Island and the doubledecker bus tour of the city), and Philadelphia. had a great trip! So much to see! We didn't see everything we wanted to, but saw a lot!

Brrrrrrr......are you sure about this??!! I would wait for late Spring!! Then, Boston is great w/Freedom Trail, Fanuiel Hall, Aquarium, Duck Tours, etc. Also, the Marginal Way in Ogunquit Maine and a genuine Maine lobster is excellent...Bar Harbor, Maine is absolutely beautiful, but FAAAARRR.....and North Conway, NH is charming. But I guess I only find any of these charming when the weather is more likely to be warmer rather than colder!!

Don't forget about us in Vermont! We just had our first Nor'Easter and people are getting ready to ski-
