New England Patriots Fans...

There was a penalty going on in the end zone....I thought they were booing Farve also, but that wasn't the case. They were booing the penalty call.

I was simply stunned by Randy Moss's 5th quarter 'speech'...man, I can't believe that guy. And he has to go into a Vikings locker room this week??? Really needs to learn how to keep his thoughts to himself sometimes.

Incorrect. Favre was on the Vikings sidelines getting looked at while the TD and 2 pt conversion were scored. It was at least a minute or two after the score that Favre was carted off.

I'm sure that most folks don't want to believe that people could act like that but it happened.
As I said just now.....there was a penalty call on the same play that Favre got hit....penalty call had nothing to do with him, but it went almost unnoticed due to the Favre hit in the chin.

Oh, I believe it. As New Yorkers living in Mass, we have had rude remarks thrown our way when my husband steps out in either a Jets hat or a Yankee hat. Yankee hat is the worst. I mean strangers, who feel the need to make rude remarks just because of a team preference. And the bumper stickers!! Offensive and crude. Sports fans up here (not all, I'm sure - but I've seen more than I've wanted to) are not kind about rival teams, their players or their fans.

And herein lies the difference - Minnesota is not a rival team. The rivalry between the Yanks and the Sox is very old, very strong and can get ugly. There is also a rivalry with the Jets, although not as strong. On the other hand, nobody is going to give a hoot if you wear a Minnesota shirt. :thumbsup2

I don't think they are booing because he is hurt, he is getting boo'd for what he has been accused of the last couple of weeks. People have lost respect for the guy.

I know I was happy he was out of the game. Imho, he doesn't belong on the field. He's mentally-obviously-and a moral mess. His kids, my kid, women of the world-none of us needs to see him 'leading' a team week after week. The Steelers had it right when they refused to make Rothlisberger their team captain this year and although I find his apologies hollow, at least Ben has publicly apologized. See ya Brett! Wouldn't wanna be ya.

Booing an injured player is bad but I can't blame Pats fans, I have a feeling most NFL fans would boo Favre at this point. It's amazing how much his popularity has fallen in the last 12 months and he has noone to blame but himself.

Favre is a walking freaking train wreck. I want to retire. No, I'm back. Send me to Minnesota. I want to retire again. No, I'm back again. Ouch my shoulder. Hey sexy reporter chick! Oh here's a picture of my Johnson! Ouch my ankle. Ouch my jaw.

He needs to GO AWAY!! FAR FAR AWAY!! AND NEVER COME BACK!!

Great summary!

love it!!! and soo true!

I find it amazing how many people think its justified to boo an injured player just because they don't agree with his choices on and off the field.. amazing.

He's a big boy- I think it bothers you more than it bothers him. Was it nice? No. What more do you want anyone to say?

I said it wasn't nice- disgusting is more like sending nudie pics and dirty texts to reporters on the sidelines. :rolleyes1

Brett says he didn't send the nude pics. So I guess you believe the woman huh without any proof? Typical. Not to mention that she hasn't even talked with league officials yet and there was a report that she wouldn't talk to the league if she could reach a financial settlement with Brett. Says a lot about her character right there.

No- I don't necessarily believe her- just using it as an example. He does admit to propostioning her though. Also, disgusting.

I don't like to see any player get hurt. I hope Brett Favre recovers from the ankle injury and the hit to the chest. He's tough but 41 years old.

Well I am a Bostonian living in San Diego and we have had rude remarks thrown our way ESP during basketball season. We are huge CELTICS fans and we wear the Celts t's and sweatshirts proudly BUT we do realize this is HUGE Laker Country ... from LA to the OC to SD everyone loves their Lakers.

We realize that but we have chosen to live here and we do accept the 'sometimes' comments thrown our way due to our Celtic pride. We just do not let it bother us one bit.

In 2008 when we moved here the Celts had just won the Championship beating the Lakers. That was so hard on the Lakers fans ... no one would even discuss basketball. :headache:

But in the meantime, we proudly attend as many PADRES games as possible wearing all PADRES shirts while still die hard SOX fans!

My DS' college roomie (grad '04) was hired by the JETS (he does IT for them) and DS and all the college alum buddies go to every JETS/PATS game possible as it is so much easier to get JETS tickets than PATS tickets. DS flew from San Diego in Sept to attend a PATS/JETS game in their new stadium ... Pats lost.
