Sorry to disappoint the Favre lovers, but if they were happy about him getting hurt, they would have been cheering as he left the field, not booing.

They were booing the penalty call that had nothing to do with Favre.

This is so right.... Cheering would of been going on when he was carried off the field!!

She was cat called and swore at because she had on a new york yankee cap.

On the tour of fenway park ... Teh tour guide made snide remarks about her and her cap.


She had a good comeback regarding the amount of penants new york won vs boston. Tour operated never said a word to her the rest of the tour.


Hope new england goes down the tubes the rest of the season.

Did you even read my post about being a Bostonian living in San Diego ... we wear our Boston teams proudly BUT we are well aware we are not on or even near Boston territory ... if someone makes a snide remark we deal with it ourselves, as we know we are ON THEIR TURF.

i would never boo a person be taken off the field no matter what. Even yes even it was a new england player or red sox player ... And i hate the red sox and new england..but i would draw the line at ever booing a man of the field. As far as wearing a sports cap in another city ...give me a break...we take it all to far. You should be able to wear boston hats in dan diego and be left alone. I wouldn't boo or harass anyone. Hope you have a nice day and if you need a new team to cheer for the yankees would love to have you.

I saw the game. I thought the fans were booing a penalty call. Honestly, I don't see Patriots fans as being so out of control. Then again, I'm originally from Los Angeles. That brings a whole new meaning to fan violence. Do any of you remember when the Raiders played in LA? A Steeler fan was severely beaten during a Raider game just because he was wearing an opposing team jersey.

Sorry, but this was so absurd it cracked me up! What was she expecting? Don't really think you can insult millions of people because of your friends' lack of judgement. Would she wear an "I Love Bush" shirt to Democratic rallies? A "Go Argentina" hat on a trip to Brazil? etc... DH and the boys love to wear their Sox things while traveling but they'd be senseless to think that they will never get comments on them - both good and bad.

Talked to a few people who were at the game. Nobody who was ACTUALLY AT the game knows what the OP is talking about, so I'm happy to report (as was reported by an earlier poster) that this thread is quite baseless. So, with that, I am respectfully withdrawing from all the nonsense.

I now live in San Diego and I am a HUGE Padres fan. Attended easily 7 of their games this season but my Red Sox will always be in my heart.

thanks for getting it right. Life is to short. If you can't wear ny hats in boston and boston hats in ny what in the world have we come to. Glad you like padres and cheer for them.. Yes you can cheer for more than one team. But some people take this way to far. Enjoy your great weather it is very cold here in the northeast.
