I just voted - summer weekends tend to book up really fast for our family (and two weekend in August we'll be on a Disney cruise!), so I loaded up on September. Sat or Sun really doesn't matter to us.

We're in southern NH, but will travel up to about 2 hours.

Would love to meet you all!

Last time we met for brunch at a cool little resturant just outside of Boston... we can meet there again or try someplace different maybe more centralized in the state... We are open to ideas

While brunch/lunch at a restaurant sounds good to me, it doesn't sound good to me with my kids!

Is this going to be more of an adult event, or are we thinking of something to include children also? A BYOF/B cookout at someone's house might be fun - I'd offer up our place but the house and yard are far too small!

Just throwing out ideas - not trying to hijack - promise!

Ooooooh, I would love to meet other DISers. I have never met anyone personally. I think it would be fun.

I tried to make the last one, but it didn't work out.

I'm in MA and I would probably have to bring my kids too.

We had a private room with stuff set up for the kids.. they were able to run around and play. I have a great little park I can book and could get a tent and we could do a pot luck thing like Indy but it is 30 min west of Worcester, 60 Min west of Boston, 45 south of Nashua so it is a little out there (Lunenburg.. Where Whalom Park was) and or I have no problem with the idea of someones house if they are willing. I have also done Mini golf tournments in the past where you all start at the same time on different holes.. we could do that and then go grab a bite to eat at the back room of a resturant or something. Don't worry about Hijacking.. it is all good!! Who else has an idea?!?!?!?

My summer is definitely taken - baseball games, concerts, cousin's wedding in key west, cousin's reception back home, oh, and two of those weekends I will be in Disney World!!

September would definitely be better for us. I had something come up last minute last time and couldn't make it, but would love to try to make it this time. Don't forget - CT is part of New England too!!

What's the name of the Park? I used to goto shady point alot when I was younger.
