Has anyone else received an offer to change arrival/departure dates? If so, has anyone opted to change their dates? I am looking forward to arriving in January, and will probably not change because I have already begun my mental "countdown"! Just wondering if others are getting this email and why. In one way it's tempting, but I think it might really be a challenge to one's choice of housing, especially at that point,

I recieved an email offering a new arrival date of February 21st (from January 10!) I wont be taking it because I already have my housing situation figured out and I really want to take classes while there! I'm sure they will find some people to make the switch though :thumbsup2

Yeah, I got that email too. When I read it, I was thinking, "Umm, no, I won't be changing my dates.." since I already found roommates and everything for my January 10th arrival. Also, it's only two weeks and a day until I leave for Florida :]]

I'm thinking that everyone who has a January arrival date got this e-mail. I am not changing and I doubt many people will because by now people have already bought their plane tickets/made travel arrangements and booked lodgings. I wonder why they're doing this when even they said that dates would fill up. It almost seems to me that they don't like the fact that January is full or that people have been e-mailing them and begging them for January arrival dates or something. They even offered the bribe of hopper passes to get us to change so I think that means they really want people to move. Then again, they go and say that February 21st has limited spaces so I guess that means they want people to act quickly and change now. I don't understand but then again most of what they do doesn't make sense without explanation.

I have the 2/7 arrival date and got the email too, but I don't plan to change either since I've got travel plans figured already

Just so you guys know, in the past they have sent these e-mails out and have automaticly changed the check-in dates. Not that they will do it now,but just warning you!
