DW and I just returned from WDW on the 19th.. This was our 32nd. stay at a WDW resort. We always try to eat something new to us, on each trip. I have seen many people on these boards talk about the Tonga Toast, served at the Kona Cafe, at the Poly, so I decided to give it a try this trip. We had a delightful waitress named Angela. The Tonga Toast came to the table hot,
fluffy and not greasy at all. I thought it was excellent and not overrated at all. The coffee was also great.

I also tried the French Toast Loaf, at the Main Street Bake Shop, in the MK and thought it was very good. DW thought it was OK.

I think the Earl Of Sandwich in Downtown Disney is a great addition for WDW. The sandwiches I had were good and the price was very reasonable. During our 8 day stay I had 3 different sandwiches and enjoyed all three.

We are going to give Earl of Sandwich a try next week. :wizard:

We were at Earl of Sandwich on 12/8 -- and even after eating turkey, turkey, turkey from Thanksgiving up to that point I had dreamed of trying their "All American" turkey sandwich -- with cheddar, lettuce, ranch dressing and cranberries. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The Earl will be a frequent visit for us from here on out! :lovestruc

I also tried Earl for the first itme two weeks ago based on board recommendations.
I tried the Tuna Melt and it was very good. Fast service, reaonable price. Good additional to dt idsney.
