New DVC

Just received my DVC membership, nice backpack, picture of the BCV and membership info with all the documents to send back with of course my check!

Questions, is this all the info I will get from DVC. Do you get any other information after the sale is 100% complete?

You will get a member's guide and a membership card (the timeliness of the mailing of the latter appears to be somewhat lacking for a few members)

every year you will get a member book - it list all your options & benefits - and the points that they will cost - you also get a newletter 4 times a year. this newletter can be a pain - if you look on the DVC member only site you will see that the summer edition is out but I haven't receive my copy - why - the mail people only deliver in a now busy time period.

Welcome Home!! We also got the package you described. It had the member handbook in it. We have not gotten anything else, but we expect to get a letter soon stating they have closed on our sale and filed the deed with the county courthouse (or wherever they file it!).

DVC has been known to send little surprize gifts every few years....pins, license plates, special offers,,,,hope they keep it up! We enjoy them and use them.....silly us, don't even sell them on E-Bay!!!

spiceycat: Just received our Vacation Magic for summer yesterday.They do need to get these out sooner.It is fun getting a "freebie" once and awhile.IMHO the all time favorite that means the most and always will, are the Mickey Ears with the 9/11 dedication on the back.The VWL pin was neat.Did anyone receive anything for the BCV?

Thanks everybody, I can't wait to start planning, although our first DVC trip is going to be the cruise!!!!

DVC just called to make sure I received all my paper work and to see if I have any questions. As we were talking, she told me to refer to the guide book, so as I am looking through my package I didn't get a guide book!!! This explains why I was so confused on all the info I received. I was wondering why they don't put all these questions I was asking in a book....figured every new member probably has the same or similar questions. They were very nice and apologetic and are sending one out right away. I love good service!
