New DVC Valet Parking Policy

I have used my DVC card to park at yacht Club, Poly, as well as the DVC resorts -

It might be if you get lucky with the valet - but I have found when driving into a resort to park - flashing my DVC card goes a long way!

I went to the poly for lunch one day and didn't show my card and got a limited parking pass (2 hours) when I returned for dinner a couple of days later - I showed my DVC card and they let me in without the limited pass

We've had DDE for many years (7 or so?), and we've never ONCE been asked to show a dining receipt.

We just always show them our membership card when they're taking down our name - and I think they make a notation right on the valet slip.

But YMMV.

Our experience has been the same as Beth's. The first time I valet parked to dine at Citrico's at the GF, I didn't show my card (and receipt) until we were departing. The valet manager suggested that in the future I should show the card to the valet when we arrive and they would note DDE on the key tag. That's what I've been doing ever since and it's worked very efficiently. I always have my receipt in my wallet anyway, but it's convenient to have it noted in advance and I've never actually needed to show my receipt.
