New DVC Membership Question

I recently closed on a small contract at BWV. I was sent a New Member Handbook, Vacation Planner and Calendar. I was also sent a post card including my PIN for the DVC website. What other membership information will be sent to me? When should I expect my membership card? I know that I am in the system but cannot access the website the the membership number provided over the phone. (Wrong format?)

You can call Member Services, they can give you the codes for the website, as long as you are in the system. I haven't purchased resale, nor have I added on in ages, so I can't tell you if you should receive anything else.

To access the website for the first time you need the PIN you received in the mail and something called your "Club ID" (which is different from your member ID). If you purchase resale you need to call MS and ask them for your Club ID. Only those who purchase directly from Disney get the Club ID with their paperwork.

As far as the Membership cards go, I received mine 3 weeks after my info made it into DVC's system.

Thanks for this info, this has helped me because I was wondering the same thing and I had no idea that MS would give this info out. I just called and she gave me what I needed. I had already made a room ressie for October but still green on the website. Now I should be able to access it.
