We are new members of DVC with two 100 point Grand Californian Contracts, and after booking two trips for 2016 we have found the DVC experience to be even better than we thought it would be!
Calling into Member Services was a breeze, and they were very helpful in getting our dates booked for an Aulani trip and a Disneyland Trip.
I really like the flexibility with how you can use your points, and we needed 11 extra points for our Aulani trip to make it 8 nights total and being able to purchase up to 25 points each year for $15 is very nice.
I know we'll have issues as the years go on, but for those who are considering DVC we couldn't be happier. Of course we did a lot of research and in my opinion had proper expectations for what we were buying, so your experience could be different if you don't understand how DVC works.
Now just a long wait till next year for our first trips, very excited!
